Our branch is a female-founded and led organization, within a highly male-dominated field. In addition, the many nationalities of our board and consulting team bring forward various cultural perspectives to problem solving, teamwork, and social outreach.
We are proud to create a consulting environment that holds itself to the highest of ethical standards and allows students to explore the career path of consulting without compromising their passion for social justice.
About 180DC Amsterdam
Founded by Victoria Mai and Zohar Preminger in 2019, 180DC Amsterdam started out with two projects per cycle and an ambitious outlook. Since then we’ve expanded into 6 projects per cycle, with a team of 5 student consultants working on each. This means that every year, we have 60 consultants!
Our branch prioritizes local projects with smaller organizations, we believe that helping our clients get started maximizes the impact of our work with them and equips them for long-term sustainability. Our clients are carefully selected to adhere to our values. 180DC Amsterdam mainly works with sustainability, education, and rights focused organizations. We keep our work apolitical and irreligious.
180DC Amsterdam’s are top students from UvA, VU, and AUC. We welcome all backgrounds and fields of study. The only preconditions necessary to be accepted are steadfast dedication and an impressive display of learning potential.
We take great care to create teams where consultants compliment each other with their knowledge, skills, personality, and interests, bearing the client’s needs in mind. It is important to us to maintain our organization intimate and positive, engagement and friendships across all teams and levels are of enormous value to us.
